Choose this day whom you will serve

*People of God, sons and daughters of the Most High, hear the word of the Lord! The heavens are rumbling, the earth is trembling, and the Spirit of God is calling this generation to awaken from its slumber! I stand before you, not in my own strength, but by the fire of the Almighty, to declare: The time for indecision is over! The time for compromise is finished! Thus says the Lord: “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal is your god, then follow him!” (1 Kings 18:21).*

Look around you, O generation! You have built altars to the Baals of this age—idols of pride, pleasure, and power. You worship at the screens of distraction, bowing to the gods of self and success. You have traded the eternal for the fleeting, the holy for the hollow. Your hearts chase after wealth that rusts, fame that fades, and desires that destroy. Yet the Lord God, the Maker of heaven and earth, has not forgotten you! He sees your wandering, He knows your pain, and He is calling you back to the fire of His presence!

The Drought of Truth

Just as in the days of Elijah, there is a drought in the land—not only of water but of truth, of righteousness, of courage. The prophets of this age speak soothing lies, tickling ears with promises of comfort while the world burns in sin. The churches grow dim, the pulpits grow silent, and the people grow cold. But hear me now: The Lord will not be mocked! He is sending His fire—not to destroy, but to purify; not to condemn, but to awaken!

This generation, you have seen the signs—wars and rumors of wars, nations raging, creation groaning. The storms grow fiercer, the darkness grows thicker, yet you say, “Peace, peace,” when there is no peace (Jeremiah 6:14). You scroll past the cries of the oppressed, you turn away from the broken, you ignore the widow and the orphan. But the Lord sees! The Lord hears! And He is rising from His throne with a jealous love for His people, saying, “Return to Me, and I will return to you!” (Zechariah 1:3).

The Call to Repentance

O people, repent! Turn from your wicked ways, for the kingdom of God is at hand! Tear down the altars of greed in your hearts. Cast down the idols of lust and envy. Break the chains of apathy that bind you. The Lord is not seeking your rituals or your empty prayers—He seeks a broken and contrite heart (Psalm 51:17). He desires a people who will stand for justice, who will speak for the voiceless, who will love mercy and walk humbly with their God (Micah 6:8).

Do you not know that you are the generation chosen to prepare the way of the Lord? You are the ones called to be a light in the darkness, a city on a hill, a voice crying in the wilderness, “Prepare the way for the King!” (Isaiah 40:3). But you cannot serve both God and Mammon. You cannot dance with the world and walk with the Savior. Choose this day whom you will serve!

The Fire Will Fall

Remember the days of Elijah on Mount Carmel, when the false prophets shouted and danced, but their gods were silent. Elijah rebuilt the altar of the Lord, stone by stone, and called down fire from heaven—not to prove himself, but to prove that the Lord alone is God! And the fire fell! The people cried, “The Lord, He is God!” (1 Kings 18:39). So it will be again. The Lord is preparing to send His fire—not a fire of judgment alone, but a fire of revival, a fire of awakening, a fire of the Holy Spirit to burn away the chaff and ignite the hearts of His people.

But hear this: The fire will not fall on a people who cling to their idols. The fire will not fall on a generation that loves the world more than the Word. The fire will fall when you rebuild the altar—when you return to prayer, when you seek His face, when you cry out for His mercy. “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

The Time Is Now

This is not a message for tomorrow—this is a message for today! The hour is late, the harvest is ripe, and the laborers are few. Rise up, O church! Rise up, O remnant! Put on the armor of God, take up the sword of the Spirit, and stand against the schemes of the enemy. You are not powerless—you are filled with the Spirit of the Living God! You are not defeated—you are more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens you!

To the young, I say: You are not too weak to carry the fire of God. Your passion, your zeal, your faith can shake nations. To the old, I say: Your prayers are powerful, your wisdom is needed, your testimony will guide the lost. To the broken, I say: The Lord is near to the crushed in spirit, and He will restore you. To the weary, I say: Come to Jesus, and He will give you rest.

A Final Charge

People of God, the world is watching. The nations are waiting. The heavens are poised. Will you be the generation that turns back to God? Will you be the ones who say, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!” (Joshua 24:15)? The Lord is not done with this generation—He is calling you to be His witnesses, His warriors, His worshipers.

So stand, O people! Lift your voices in praise, lift your hands in surrender, lift your lives as a living sacrifice. Cry out for the fire of God to fall! Let the world know that the Lord, He is God! Repent, return, revive—for the glory of the Lord is coming, and every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!

Thus says the Lord: “Choose this day whom you will serve!” Amen and amen
